Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary Care

Care and Support in Your Home

Home is where many people feel happiest and most secure, so it’s usually preferable to receive care in your own home. With the right support from us, it’s possible for almost everyone, regardless of how complex your medical needs are. Helping you live independently, whilst staying in your own home, Domiciliary care can take many different forms. Including:
Help around the house, such as cooking, cleaning and doing the shopping

Personal care, such as getting showered or bathed, getting dressed, shaving and taking medication

Companion services, for example, our care workers can accompany you to medical appointments, social outings, or even just be a Scrabble partner at home!

Reablement

We believe reablement care is one of the most valuable care systems we provide and help you or your loved one stay in their own home for as long as possible. The idea is simple, instead of our care staff completing tasks around the home we help you complete them yourself, regaining skills lost or gaining new skills. This is done with a view to becoming completely independent in as short a time as possible.

The advantage to the client is threefold. Firstly independence is achieved, secondly self-esteem is maintained or gained and lastly, care costs are reduced.

End of Life Care

Many people with long-term or terminal illness prefer to be cared for at home. This is one of the most important services any care team can give. Our trained care workers can alleviate the symptoms, pain and stress, to keep you or your loved one feeling comfortable in your own home. They’ll also be on hand to provide practical and emotional support, for both you and your family.

Learning Disabilities

We offer various levels of care and support for people who have learning disabilities and associated needs. This can include communication difficulties, autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities. Our person-centred approach helps develop independence and safety. We work towards everyone reaching their potential and living life to the fullest.
We work closely with community, hospital and social care teams, support workers and senior care coordinators, who share our vision of improving your outcomes. Our goal is for our reablement care to help you live independently while reducing your on-going care costs.
